Username generator
Ten fresh usernames at a time: friendly word combos, random characters, variations on your own name, or email alias ideas. Use a different one for each site so your accounts can't be linked. Free, no signup.
- No account
- Names never saved
- Cryptographic randomness
Pick how the names are made. Every change makes a new batch.
An adjective and a noun from friendly word lists, like CalmOtter42. Easy to remember, and they make good gamertags.
Gmail delivers mail sent to yourname+anything@gmail.com to your normal inbox (Google's help page). Other providers differ, some sites refuse a + in addresses, and anyone can remove the tag to see your real address.
Made in your browser. Names are never uploaded or saved.

How it works
How to pick a username
Choose a style
Word combos for something memorable, random characters for something no one can trace, your own word or name, or an email alias.
Set the limits
Set the length, numbers, separator and capitals, or pick a site and every name follows its rules.
Copy one you like
Copy a name, or generate ten more. Nothing is kept, so a name you skip is gone for good.
What it makes
Four kinds of usernames
Every name is drawn with your browser's cryptographic random generator, and each batch of ten has no repeats.
Word combo
An adjective and a noun from hand-picked, friendly lists of a few hundred words each, with numbers if you like.
CalmOtter42 · swift_comet · Lucky.MapleRandom characters
Letters and digits with no meaning at all, so the name says nothing about you. Always starts with a letter.
k7rqzt2m · Hw4pbx9eFrom a word
Your word or name with a friendly word before or after it, numbers, or a letter or two swapped for look-alike digits.
sam → TheSam · SamStudio · S4m2024Email alias idea
A plus address for each site, so you can filter its mail and spot who shared your address.
yourname+netflix@gmail.comOne name per site
Reusing a handle lets anyone search it and connect your accounts. A different username for each site keeps them apart.

Questions about usernames
What makes a good username?
One you will recognise but others cannot tie to you: no full name, no birthday and not the handle you already use elsewhere. Keep it within the site’s length limit and stick to letters, numbers and one separator, which almost every site accepts.
Why use a different username on every site?
If you use one username everywhere, anyone can search it and link your accounts together, and a leak from one site tells attackers what to try on the others. A different username for each site keeps your accounts apart. It works best with a different password for each site too.
Are these usernames random and unique?
Each name is drawn with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, the same kind used for passwords, and a batch of ten never repeats a name. The page cannot check whether a name is already taken on a site; the site tells you when you sign up.
How do I make a username from my name?
Choose “From a word” and type your name or a word you like. You get variations with a friendly word before or after it, a few numbers, or a letter or two swapped for look-alike digits, like S4m for Sam. Accents are dropped so every site accepts the result.
How does the email alias idea work?
Gmail delivers mail sent to yourname+anything@gmail.com to yourname@gmail.com, as Google’s help page explains, so each site can get its own address that you can filter and trace. Other email providers differ, some sites refuse a plus sign in an address, and anyone who sees the alias can remove the tag, so it helps with sorting, not anonymity.
What are the username rules on X and Discord?
X allows up to 15 characters: letters, numbers and underscores. Discord allows 2 to 32 characters: lowercase letters, numbers, underscores and periods, never two periods in a row. Pick either under “Fit to” and every name follows that site’s rules, taken from its help center.
Are the usernames saved or sent anywhere?
No. Names are made in your browser and are never sent to Trezio or anyone else. The page does not save the names or anything you type. Only your settings, like length and separator, are kept in this browser’s local storage so they are there next time.
How is this different from Trezio?
This tool makes usernames and forgets them. Trezio is where a login can live afterwards: the browser extension and the Android app save it with a screenshot of the sign-in page, encrypted on your device with a master password that never leaves it. There’s a free plan.
