Trezio vs mymind

Both are private places to keep what you find online. mymind is the beautiful one that organizes itself: no folders, AI tags, and search that can read your images. Trezio costs less, lets you file things in folders if you want to, and keeps your logins in an encrypted vault. If you are looking for a mymind alternative, here is where each one is stronger.

Where mymind wins

Where mymind is stronger

Nothing to organize. mymind's whole idea is that you save and never file. It tags each image and web page for you, reads the text in screenshots, and lets you search for an object, a color or a style you remember. Smart Spaces are saved searches that fill themselves as you save. Trezio suggests tags when you ask, but filing into folders is up to you.

Design. mymind turns what you save into distinct cards: products show a price, books a cover, color codes become palettes, and every web link gets a screenshot of the page. It is a lovely place to browse. Trezio is plainer.

Apple apps. mymind has native apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and a Safari extension as well as Chrome, Brave and Edge. Trezio is on the web, Chrome, Edge and Android; on an iPhone or Mac you use it in the browser.

Keeping the article. On Mastermind, mymind gives you a clean reading view and stores whole articles, so they survive if the original page is deleted. Trezio keeps the link, its title, description and image, and your own notes, not the article itself.

A clear privacy promise. mymind says it will never run ads, never sell your data and doesn't track you, and that it is funded only by its members.

Where Trezio wins

Where Trezio is stronger

Price. Trezio Pro is $3.70 a month, or $35.40 a year, and includes AI summaries and tag suggestions. mymind's cheapest plan with AI, Student of Life, is $7.99 a month or $79 a year, and the plan with AI summaries, Mastermind, is $12.99 a month or $129 a year. Both free plans hold 100 items.

Folders, if you want them. mymind has no folders by design. Trezio has nested folders, tags and favorites, so you can keep a project, a client or a trip in its own place and know exactly what is in it.

Logins, kept privately. Trezio has an encrypted vault for usernames and passwords. They are encrypted on your device with AES-256, using a key made from a master password that never leaves it, so Trezio cannot read them. You can also lock any folder behind its own password.

Bringing your library with you. mymind has decided against a bulk import, so years of browser bookmarks stay behind unless you use its beta API. Trezio imports bookmark files from Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Raindrop and Pocket.

Voice notes and sharing. Trezio records voice notes on every plan, and you can publish a folder as a public, read-only page. mymind shares one card at a time, through links that expire.

Switching

How to move from mymind to Trezio

  1. Export from mymind

On a computer, in the latest Chrome or Edge, open your Account page from the cog and choose Export my mind. Pick a new folder: mymind saves your images and PDFs there, plus a file called cards.csv.

  2. Check the CSV

Trezio reads the columns url (or link), title, tags and note. We haven't seen mymind's column names, so open cards.csv first; if the link column has another name, rename its header to url.

  3. Import into Trezio

In Trezio, go to Settings, then Import, and drop cards.csv in. Rows with a link come across. The free plan imports up to 100 items; Pro has no limit.

Notes, quotes and highlights without a link are skipped, and the image and PDF files stay in your export folder; you can add images to Trezio one at a time.

FAQ

Questions about Trezio and mymind

Is mymind free?

Up to a point. Every mymind account starts on a free guest plan that holds 100 cards, with no time limit, and it includes most of mymind's AI features. Past 100 cards you need a paid plan: The Bookmarker at $4.99 a month, Student of Life at $7.99 or Mastermind at $12.99.

How much does mymind cost compared with Trezio?

On mymind's pricing page, The Bookmarker (no AI features) is $4.99 a month, Student of Life is $7.99 a month or $79 a year, and Mastermind is $12.99 a month or $129 a year. Trezio Pro is $3.70 a month, or $35.40 a year, and includes AI summaries and tag suggestions. Both free plans stop at 100 items.

Does mymind have folders?

No. mymind organizes for you: it tags what you save automatically and you find things by searching. You can add your own tags and make Spaces, which are either saved searches that fill themselves or groups you pick by hand. Trezio has nested folders as well as tags, for people who like to file things themselves.

Can I move from mymind to Trezio?

Partly. Export my mind, on desktop Chrome or Edge, saves your images and PDFs as files plus a cards.csv with your links, notes, quotes and highlights. Trezio imports a CSV that has a url column, so your links come across. Notes without a link and the saved files do not, and the free plan stops at 100 items.

Can I import my old bookmarks into mymind?

Not in bulk. mymind has decided not to offer a bulk import, so its beta API is the only way to bring a large library in. Trezio imports HTML bookmark files from Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Raindrop and Pocket, as well as CSV files.

Does Trezio have an iPhone or Mac app?

Not yet. Trezio runs in any browser, including Safari on iPhone and Mac, and has a Chrome and Edge extension and an Android app. mymind has native apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, and extensions for Chrome, Brave, Safari and Edge.

Can mymind store passwords?

Password storage is not part of mymind's listed features. Trezio has an encrypted vault for logins: they are encrypted on your device with AES-256 using a master password that is never sent to Trezio, and you can lock folders behind their own password.
